Accounting

Title: Corporate Senior Consolidation Accountant - (RF)
Location: Saxonburg, PA
To serve as the corporate headquarters’ senior consolidation accountant. In this role, the individual will have first level responsibility for the monthly worldwide corporate financial closing process including reviewing the financial results against forecast and / or budget and investigating and resolving any significant or unusual variances while ensuring proper eliminations of all intercompany balances and transactions. In addition, the individual will be responsible for all Corporate Holding Companies, including II-VI Delaware, II-VI B.V and II-VI Deutschland Gmbh as well as responsibility for the Consolidating Top Level Elimination general ledger. This position would assist in the accounting, management and maintenance of the Company’s stock options, performance shares, restricted shares and other share-based compensations plans as well as serve as backup for the Equity Enterprise equity database. Other tasks would include assisting in the Company’s SEC compliance filings including Form 10-K, Form 10-Q, Proxy and 8-K’s as well as interactions with the external auditors and other special projects as assigned.

Title: Assistant Controller - IR Optics - (TM)
Location: Saxonburg, PA
This function is responsible for understanding and controlling the key drivers that affect our IR Optics Gross margin. The incumbent will work with the IR Optics Controller to develop the Cost Accounting Function for the World-Wide IR Optics group. Duties will include understanding and forecasting standard and actual gross margins for all manufacturing and sales entities; responsible for developing and integrating consistent practices from quote process through inventory valuation; provides support and oversight to the accounting and finance functions for IR Optics manufacturing and distribution locations.

Administration

Title: Lead Staffing Specialist - (MA)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Primary function is to lead the recruiting efforts of II-VI and specifically filling the talent needs of the Saxonburg campus and providing assistance to other II-VI locations, when requested. The secondary function is to provide project leadership and support within the Human Resources Department in the following areas: affirmative action, employee relations, training, benefits administration, communications and various other projects pertaining to the Human Resources function.

Title: Director, Corporate Research & Business Development - (JM)
Location: Saxonburg, PA
This position is responsible to direct government, DOD, and lobbying interactions for all US locations. Directs and coordinates the writing and submitting of Congressional White Papers and supporting justification and Congressional member reports. Serves as a key member of the II-VI Corporate R&D Leadership Team. Serves as a member of the II-VI Political Action Committee Board of Directors. Assists the Corporate VP of the Military and Materials business segment with technical support for corporate relations with DOD labs, Congress, and prime DOD contractors. Advances II-VI’s technical reputation through customer interactions, presentation of papers, attendance at trade shows, and direct interactions with peers and technical associates.

Engineering

Title: Environmental Engineer & EHS Auditor - (BL)
Location: Saxonburg, PA
Provide site environmental engineering and regulatory support. Manage site environmental operations. Manage corporate environmental, health, and safety (EHS) auditing program. Manage corporate TSDF auditing program. Manage corporate radiation safety and waste minimization programs.

Title: CVD Process Engineer - (JC)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
This person leads CVD process yield improvement initiatives. Analyzes and tracks process data for the purpose of yield improvement. Characterizes material defects and proposes corrective actions to eliminate them. Works to understand the key process variables driving CVD material properties and implements process control strategies to manage these variables. Monitors the quality of all department raw materials and intermediates and their impact on Zn materials quality. Through hands-on floor work with operators, gains extensive understanding of the CVD process. Monitors floor operations for deviations from best practices. Works closely with other departments to track material quality issues including but not limited to: cosmetic defects, transmission, absorption, hardness, grain size, stress, and mechanical properties. Interfaces with downstream departments that process material produced in MPZ to resolve issues. Develops process standardization, promotes process operating stability, and quality assurance programs at the operator level consistent with the philosophy of continuous improvement. Manages or supports improvement projects such as new equipment installations or modification as needed. Participates in and offers process knowledge to the PSM process in all areas of MPZ. Performs special assignments as needed.

Information Technology

Title: Technical Analyst - Business Intelligence - (SB)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Provide technical, software development, report development, and business analytic skills to build and support supplemental business applications and information delivery solutions. Work closely with other II-VI departments to develop knowledge of business processes and system requirements. Provide technical leadership and assistance in the definition, development, implementation and support of information technology solutions and business process change management to support the II-VI manufacturing environment.

Title: Network Administrator - (SE)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Develop, implement and administer network technologies and services to the II-VI Corporate infrastructure. Promote and enforce standards to ensure a secure and reliable network. Provide support to technical team in regard to network maintenance, implementation and troubleshooting.

Title: Business Systems Analyst - (SB)
Location: Saxonburg, PA
Qualified individual will be knowledgeable in manufacturing, financial, and supplemental software packages. Work closely with other II-VI departments to develop knowledge of business processes and system requirements. Provide leadership and assistance in the selection, set up, implementation and support of information technology solutions and business process change management to support the II-VI manufacturing environment.

Manufacturing Positions

Title: Utility Support - Optical Fabrication - (OF-MB)
Location: Saxonburg, PA
Performs utility functions throughout our Optical Fabrication (OF) department. This includes maintaining inventory of polishing and grinding compounds along with operational supplies, performing acid stripping of coated optics, housekeeping duties within the OF department and general support of manufacturing functions as needed.

Title: Quality Assurance Utility Person - (JD)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
This person will perform various duties that support final Quality Inspection. Optics will be wrapped and packaged in a neat and organized manner that meets customer packaging requirements. Paperwork will be filed in a timely and accurate manner.

Title: Purchasing Assistant - DT - (JH)
Location: Saxonburg, PA
Position is responsible for the purchasing support of the Diamond Turning and Component & Systems Departments of II-VI Incorporated. This includes the ordering of products made of, but not limited to, copper, aluminum and stainless steel from II-VI qualified vendors. Individual will be responsible for generating and processing all necessary purchasing documentation (i.e. requests for quotations, purchase orders etc.) in compliance with all II-VI purchasing policies and procedures and in a timely manner. Track and expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time deliveries. Assist management with reporting, establishing metrics and implementing MRO based initiatives in the Diamond Turning and Component and Systems Department.

Title: Maintenance Technician - Diamond Turning - (AH)
Location: Saxonburg
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining excellent working condition of diamond turning machines and support equipment for the Diamond Turning Operation in Saxonburg. Preventative maintenance program tasks including mechanical/hydrostatic, electrical and software checks shall be performed in a timely manner. Document machine parameters and identify problems and follow up actions. Manage machine spare parts and operating supply inventories. Participate in single point of failure planning including working with equipment manufactures to identify obsolete components and propose contingency or upgrade solutions. Maintain active vendor list for inventory purchasing. Develop knowledge of machine troubleshooting utilizing on-machine diagnostics, external electronic test equipment and process metrology. Identify changes or degradations in machine health over time using baseline measurements. Track machine down time. Document performance problems and corrective actions.

Title: Hydrogen Selenide (H2Se) Systems Operator - ()
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Performs the operation and maintenance of H2Se production equipment in order to produce H2Se gas; performs operation of H2Se-related production equipment; performs routine and non-routine handling of H2Se product; assists and supports H2Se engineering and/or product quality improvement; performs all job tasks on a rotating basis.

Title: Diamond Turning Flycut Operator - (JR)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Production of copper mirror components using a single axis Diamond Flycutting Lathe. Controlling and verifying component thickness, finish quality and optical figure for all parts machined. Critical adjustments of the diamond cutting tool.

Title: CVD Assembly Prep Technician - (JC)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Performs clean-up and pre-assembly work of CVD graphite and inserts. Performs routine and non-routine handling and processing of CVD assembly parts. Assists and supports CVD Engineering and/or MPZ Maintenance activities, as required, in order to sustain operational efficiency and/or product quality improvement. Performs all job tasks on a rotating basis.

Title: Cleaning Technician - ()
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Inspect, clean and setup optics for the coating deposition process. Maintains equipment and records data. Performs coating QA functions and documentation after deposition process.

Title: Blanking/Grinding Technician (Schneider CNC Generator) - ()
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Set up and operate the CNC Generator. Responsible for grinding and re-E.T.V.ing generated and finished optics. Perform all duties using documented standard procedures. May be assigned special projects and other tasks as required.

Title: Bevel/Core Drill Operator - (PG)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
This person will operate coredrill and bevel standard and non standard blanks and finished optics and will perform incoming inspection for diameter, bevels, chips, thickness, and surface defects. All duties will be performed using documented, standard procedures. May be assigned special projects and other tasks as required.

Title: Senior Account Manager - (TN)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
II-VI Incorporated is seeking a Senior Account Manager to support our Highyag product line. This position will be located at our Corporate Headquarters in Saxonburg, PA and will report to the Regional Sales Manager. The primary responsibilities include developing and implementing sales strategies, sales budgets and periodic forecasts for the North American Highyag market. The position will be responsible for achieving sales targets and controlling/monitoring expenses and inventory.

Title: Inside Sales Engineer - (TN)

As a member of the II-VI sales staff, you'll leverage your technical knowledge and customer service skills through daily interaction with our customers, agents and subsidiaries. Title: Assistant Aftermarket Sales Representative - (JP)
